Champions League: Will United Maintain Focus With Chelsea Looming? [VIDEOS]

Sir Alex Ferguson has warned his Manchester United players against complacency, knowing they might rest on the laurels of their 2-0 road victory at Schalke a week previous.

My concern for United would be they are now playing their first serious Champions League match with the Premier League in question.  United’s loss to Arsenal on the weekend, couple with Chelsea’s victory, have left the Red Devils with only a three-point advantage atop the table.  One wonders if the likes of Rooney and Nani will be able to emotionally motivate against Schalke with the two road goals in hand.

They must.  Because Schalke proved they can score goals in bursts and score them on the road.

UPDATE: According to Guardian reports, Sir Alex will be sitting Rooney, Chich, Ferdinand and a host of others.
